West village - townhouses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
The west village of Warrendine Court is a cluster of six townhouses, arranged in a semi-circle around a circular drive and central green-space. Access is via the tree-lined drive from Franklin Road, taking the first turn to the right after the visitor parking area and commemorative plaque.
West village comprises mostly 2-bedroom townhouses and is inhabited by a mix of families, couples and single occupants. Approximately 50% of the west village residents are owner-occupiers. Some of the backyards in west village are among the smallest in the complex, while others are exceptionally large. All townhouses in west village (except for townhouse #6) have their single carports located adjacent to the residence.
Focal interests among west village residents at the present time include sustainable energy, vegetable gardening, music, computers and IT, decorative arts, cooking and outdoor play.
Townhouse #4 was the first to install solar energy panels under the new By-Laws passed by the Body Corporate in 2013.
